SHEBOYGAN - A woman involved with the Sheboygan County Humane Society is facing serious charges after drugs were ordered under her name.

Eilene K. Ribbens is the Executive Director of the Sheboygan County Humane Society, as well as the Treasurer on the board of directors for the Wisconsin Federated Humane Societies.

According to the Sheboygan Press, Ribbens allegedly ordered a large amount of prescription drugs last year, saying she was a veterinary technician. The veterinarian for the organization found the order, and Ribben reportedly said she bought them for relatives who could not afford medications for their animals.

Ribbens has been charged with?Obtaining a Prescription Drugs with Fraud, a misdemeanor, and?Possession with the Intent to Deliver Prescriptions, a Felony. According to the Sheboygan Press, the drugs have not been accounted for.
